Life is good. I am an independent mother of two wonderful boys, Neil is 9 and Adam is 6 soon to be 7. Neil is quite active with sports (my little jock). We celebrated his first hat-trick in soccer last year and are looking forward to a repeat this year. New to his schedule will be the fourth and fifth grade choir. This was quite an accomplishment given the number of students that tried out. I am very proud of his hardwork and passion that he puts into life.
Adam just started first grade and loves having homework. (We will see how long that lasts!) Adam is my artful, creative little comedian. You never know what he will do or say next.
I work full time as a claims adjuster, (i.e. fraud investigator). The job is challenging requiring more brain power than any other job I have had. It is a crazy job involving attorneys, private investigators, medical specialists, and legal judges; somehow I fit into the mix (go figure). I hope to someday specialize in the litigation with emphasis in settlement negotiation. On the flip side, in my spare time I do needlework fininshing, teach classes, and do some exclusive design work for a cross-stich shop in the historic district of St. Charles. The boys and I still live in our home of 10 years in St. Charles. It seems like yesterday it was being built.
