After nine years of teaching elementary school, I quit in 1997 to stay home with my son Benjamin, now 6, and daughter Sydney, now 4. I plan to go back to teaching once Sydney is in the first grade, so I have two years to go. In the meantime, I started a Calligraphy business out of my home. I live in Lee's Summit with Jon Hochsprung, whom I married in 1988.
UPDATE: (As of 1/17/2004) Jon and I celebrated our 15th anniversary in 2003. I am teaching 5th grade in Greenwood. Jon became a elementary teacher in 2002 and is currently teaching 4th grade in the Kansas City MO school district. We have an eleven year old son, Ben, and nine year old daughter, Sydney.
