Graduated from William Jewell college - - degree in Music Ed.
Taught high school band at Cass-Midway and then Odessa.
Had epiphany. Quit.
Attended Maine Photographic Workshops for a year and studied filmmaking.
Attended school of hard-knocks for the following four years and studied carrying heavy filmmaking equipment.
Stopped schlepping, started shooting.
Became unafraid to cry.
Paid dues. Shot low-paying, banal crap.
Got a few good breaks. Shot some good work.
Currently work as Assignment Cinematographer, Eastman Kodak Motion Picture Division. Continue freelance cinematography.
My partner, Ann Marie, our Belgian Tervuren (puppy) and I live in a house we built 3 years ago in Camden, Maine. I work everywhere else.
