I married Wayne Hanley, from Farmington, MO. Our son Michael is 9. I'm a writer: poetry, fiction and reviews mostly. Had a poetry book (The Art of Making Tea) published in 98. Currently I'm writing a weekly radio program called ArtFact for our local NPR station, and I just accepted a position on the editorial board of a new magazine called Mid-America Poetry Review. Wayne has a Ph.D. in history, but is currently Assistant-Director for the Professional Development Center on campus at UMR until a position in academia turns up. We've lived in Rolla for one year.
