Report as Spam in I-Mail

To report spam in I-Mail in Classic HTML view: Before you open your email program to check your email first: Go to www.iland.net Click on the yellow I-Mail tab at the top Log in with your username and password for this account This will list all the email in your account on the server To the left of each message is a check box, you will want to check the box next to the ones that you don’t want (that are spam) On the right side of the is a button “Report as Spam” and you will want to click on that button when you have everything on this screen checked the you want to report as spam Above the “Report as Spam” button is Showing 1 to # of ##. This will show how many messages you will need go through, it may be more than one page This will move these messages to the trash folder on the server. On the right side of the screen, you can click the down arrow next to ‘Please select a folder’ and choose Junk Mail folder. You can delete the messages that are in here and you would want to do this about once a month or so. Once you are done you can click on Logout at the top blue line, this will empty the trash What you leave in the Inbox is what will come into your email program Now you can close out of Internet Explorer and open your email programs -------------- To report spam in I-Mail in Modern Ajax view Before you open your email program to check your email first: Go to www.iland.net Click on the yellow I-Mail tab at the top Log in with your username and password for this account This will list all the email in your account on the server You will need to choose the messages that you want to report as spam Click on a message to select it then hold down the Ctrl key on the keyboard and select other messages that you want to make as spam Once you have them selected, click on the down arrow next to “More Actions” that is above the messages and select “Report as Spam” You may need to move through the messages to see if there are any others that you want to report as spam On the left side of the screen, you can click the Junk Mail folder and select all of them and then click the red X above the messages to delete them. You will want to delete these messages about once a month or so. Once messages have been deleted and you have logged out of I-Mail, the messages are gone for good and we can NOT get them back. Once you are done you can click on Logout in the upper right corner and this will empty your trash What you leave in the Inbox is what will come into your email program Now you can close out of Internet Explorer and open your email program
