04-01-14 - 12/31/69 07:30pm - 06:00pm Due to lighting strike, I-Land's 2.4Ghz access point for Cole Camp was damaged. It has been replaced. Service has been restored to normal.
03-05-08 06:01pm - 10:00pm I-Land's Network operations had scheduled network mainteance during which time router upgrades as well as an upgrade to our I-Mail Interface service were implemented. Network Operations continues to monitor changes made during this downtime and will make minor adjustments to enhance system performance as customer usage returns to normal levels.
02-06-08 06:00pm - 08:00pm I-Land's Network Operations Center performed network upgrades and maintenance. During this time I-Land customers may have experienced difficulty establishing or maintaining a connection to the Internet or accessing various I-Land services.
01-25-08 07:00am - 08:00am Wireless Customers who connect to Sedalia's Western-most Water tower and the Tyson Grain Elevator West of town will experience an outage on Friday, January 25th at 1:00pm, while our technicians upgrade equipment located on these towers. For safety reasons, this work must be done during daylight hours (weather permitting). This outage is expected to last no longer than one hour. During this time wireless customers who connect to these sites may experience difficulty accessing the Internet or other online services.
01-20-08 06:00pm - 07:00pm I-Land's Network Operations Center performed network maintenance on certain core systems. During this time all customers may have experienced difficulty maintaining their connection to the Internet or accessing various online services.
11-14-07 06:00pm - 07:00pm I-Land's Network Operations Center conducted a short maintenance downtime. This work directly effected I-Land customers in LaMonte, Hughesville, and areas to the West of Sedalia. During this time, customers in the effected areas may have experienced difficulty maintaining a connection to the Internet or accessing other online services.
09-13-07 01:00am - 02:00am I-Land's Network Operations Center performed maintenance on one of our wireless networking devices. Sedalia wireless customers may have experienced a short 5 minute outage during this time.
08-27-07 04:00am - 12:00pm I-Land's Network Operations Center will conduct wireless maintenance on Sedalia's Western-most water tower. This work will begin in the morning on Monday and will continue throughout the day until complete. Wireless customers in and around Sedalia who connect to this tower may experience periodic outages on their service and/or may have difficulty accessing the Internet during this time. Given the nature of this work and due to safety concerns we must perform this maintenance during daylight hours. As always, this work is weather permitting and should we need to postpone we will send additional emails of an alternate date and time.

05-08-07 10:00am - 11:30am I-Land's Network Operations Center performed emergency maintenance on a portion of its wireless network in Sedalia. This caused a service outage for wireless customers in and around Eastern Sedalia.

11-08-06 - 11/09/06 04:00pm - 12:00am I-Land's Network Operations Center conducted a major downtime, which effected all customers. The outages experienced during this time were longer than normal for I-Land's Internet & email services. During this maintenance window, we upgraded a vital piece of networking equipment which required disabling a number of services associated with it. Complete outages of up to 4-6 hours for certain services may have resulted from this work.
10-11-06 07:00pm - 11:00pm I-Land's Network Operations Center conducted a downtime which effected all customers. This work may have caused frequent outages to the Internet and many other I-Land services, including email. Some outages may have lasted 2-3 hours in duration while we upgraded our systems.
09-05-06 07:00pm - 07:15pm I-Land's Network Operations Center will perform a brief downtime to replace a piece of networking hardware. This downtime is expected to last only 15 minutes. During this time customers may experience difficulty establishing or maintaining their connection to the Internet, surfing web pages, or may witness delays in email communications.
08-16-06 - 08/17/06 07:00pm - 12:30am I-Land's Network Operations Center conducted a downtime to perform equipment maintenance and system upgrades. All customers were likely effected by this work and may have experienced long outages on their Internet service as we continued our work on some critical pieces of networking equipment.

All customers were effected by this work and may have experienced frequent outages on their Internet service while we worked on a critical piece of networking equipment. These outages at times lasted 1-2 hours in duration.

During this time, customers in these areas may have experienced difficulty accessing the Internet, sending email, or utilizing other I-Land services.

04-05-06 12:00pm - 01:00pm I-Land's Network Operations Center conducted a short, one-hour downtime to perform firmware upgrades, as well as relocate certain wireless access equipment. This downtime may have caused wireless customers in the Sedalia area to have difficulty maintaining their connection to the Internet.

The DSL work was isolated to our Otelco Telephone coverage area north of Sedalia, while the wireless work was limited to customers who connect to the Internet via the “West” Sedalia water tower. During this time customers utilizing either service for their connection may have experienced difficulty accessing the Internet, sending/receiving email, or other I-Land services.

03-11-03 - 03/12/03 06:01pm - 12:00am Sprint conducted maintenance on its fiber optic network in Warrensburg. This may have impacted I-Land customers in several towns, as various components throughout the I-Land network rely on Sprint for connectivity. Customers may have had difficulty establishing or maintaining connections, or accessing various sites and services during the maintenance.
03-05-03 06:01pm - 10:00pm During this scheduled maintenance window, I-Land users may have had difficulty establishing or maintaining an Internet connection or accessing various I-Land services. This downtime included mail server upgrades as well as other routine software upgrades and hardware maintenance. No "in transit" email was lost during this process, though there may have been brief delays receiving emails from other mail servers on the Internet.
