Changing Your Dialer's
Access Number
Note: Only follow these instructions if you can
make local calls (no toll charges) to phone numbers with your dialing
prefix. If you're unsure, please contact your phone service provider.
I-Land will not be responsible for incorrectly dialed phone numbers that may
result in long distance charges.

From the Desk Top,
double click on the My Computer icon. |

In My Computer,
double click on the Dial-Up Networking icon. |
| 3. |
In Dial-Up Networking,
Right click one time on your connection icon (I-Land or My
connection etc..). |

Select Properties
from the pop-up menu. |
| 5. |
There you will see your
local access phone number. On the phone number line enter New
Number. This number is for analog and digital, as well as
ISDN connections.
NOTE: Make sure the box "Use
area code and dialing properties" is NOT checked.

Desk Top, Click the Start button. |

Go to
Settings and click on the Control Panel. |
| 3. |
In the Control
Panel double click on Dial-Up Networking. |
| 4. |
Right click
one time on your connection icon (I-Land or My connection etc..). |

Select Properties
from the pop-up menu. |
| 6. |
There you
will see your local access phone number. On the phone number line
enter New Number. This number is for analog and
digital, as well as ISDN connections.

a local call from their area. If there is any doubt, you should
check with your local phone company to insure you will not incur any
long distance charges before changing the
phone number you dial. |
