regarding i-Filter
i-Filter, like any email filter, will not always detect all Spam,
and thus is not a "100% effective" filter. The junk email filtering
feature of i-Filter is provided "as is". i-Filter may sometimes identify desired
emails as "junk or quarantined emails". For this reason, i-Filter provides the
option of reviewing those filtered emails in a "Spam or quarantined mail box " for final
review before deletion. Mail left in this folder will be automatically deleted after 14 days. Automatically deleted mail from the quarantined folder cannot be retrieved. i-Filter users should "always" review the quarantined mail list notification that is sent to their inbox. Good email identified as
Spam or quarantined mail will be permanently delete if not reviewed in a timely fashion. I-Land Internet Services is not responsible for
any losses incurred as a result the use of i-Filter
No virus filter catches everything. i-Filter may help to safeguard
your computer against many or most email-based viruses before they ever
reach your computer. But don't use i-Filter as a replacement for a
regularly updated anti-virus solution installed directly on your
computer. The virus filtering feature of i-Filter is provided "as is".
i-Filter is not guaranteed to catch all email viruses. In addition,
viruses can also infect your computer via means other than email.
