Double Overhand Knot

The Double Overhand is bulkier than the Figure 8 knot and is more difficult to untie.

 

 Step #1

Begin with an overhand knot.

Put the end back through the loop.

 Finished Double Overhand Knot

Yank firmly on both ends to snap this knot tight.
